Architectural design services and architectural expert witness services provided by Bernstein & Associates, Architects

OVERVIEW OF SERVICES OFFERED BY BERNSTEIN & ASSOCIATES, ARCHITECTS

Bernstein & Associates, Architects provides two distinct but complementary professional offerings: Architectural Services and Expert Witness Services. Since the firm’s founding in 1990, principal William N. Bernstein, AIA has built a practice that designs successful projects in healthcare, laboratories, and commercial sectors, while also serving the legal community as an expert witness in design and construction litigation on a wide range of project types. Both practice areas draw on the same foundation: deep technical expertise, more than three decades of hands-on experience, and a clear, articulate approach to complex problems. This page is focused on Architectural Design. To learn more about Expert Witness Services, please visit design and construction expert witness services.

Architectural Services
Architectural services encompass the full range of professional work required to design, document, and deliver a successful building project — from initial feasibility studies and programming through schematic design, design development, construction documents, bidding, and construction administration. A qualified architect coordinates planning, interior design, and engineering disciplines to produce functional, code-compliant, and aesthetically resolved environments tailored to each client’s mission. Supplemental services such as cost analysis, peer review, LEED consulting, equipment specification and furniture specification, can round out the scope, ensuring that every project detail is addressed from concept through close-out.

Bernstein & Associates, Architects has provided architectural services on hundreds of projects since 1990, with particular depth in healthcare design, laboratory design, and commercial design including offices, restaurants, and historic structures. The firm’s process is options-oriented and collaborative, working closely with clients, users, administrators, and facilities managers to balance functionality, ergonomics, flexibility, comfort, and visual appeal.
